The five accused of murdering Pro surfer Emery Kauanui Jr will get a look at evidence against them. I am sure they are looking forward to the reunion with “Hank” who it sounds as if gave them all up.

SAN DIEGO – The five men accused in the fatal beating of a professional surfer earlier this year will get a first look at the evidence against them during a preliminary hearing that has been scheduled for December.

Fifth defendant in fatal beating of pro surfer pleads not guilty

Attorneys for Seth Cravens, Eric House, Orlando Osuna, Matthew Yanke and Henri Quinn-Williams Hendricks appeared in Superior Court Friday morning and agreed to have the men’s preliminary hearing on Dec. 11.

Another long drawn out trial that should be wrapped up much sooner than it will be. It’s also clear that a few of them are going to use alcohol as an excuse. Pathetic.

The Mayor and the Mouth

Mike Aguirre, the wannabe Sultan of San Diego is at again. This time Mike Aguirre is worried about our water supply. Huh? Yea, I agree. Why is the City Attorney worried about the water supply? Here is a hint: he’s a showboat and looking to get elected to higher office.

San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders and City Attorney Michael Aguirre renewed recent calls for voluntary water conservation Friday in the face of reduced supply and historically low rainfall.

But in dueling news conferences separated by half an hour, Sanders said it was premature to declare an emergency to make conservation mandatory as Aguirre suggested.

Hey Mikey, how about worrying about your job — the one you have — instead of the one you don’t have. You are not a city councilman, so stop trying to do their job.

The two news conferences continued an escalating war of words over water issues between Sanders and Aguirre. Aguirre began making public comments about water policy in recent weeks after a legal decision last month that could limit the city’s access to water out of the Sacramento Delta.

However watching the Mayor get it stuck to him is fun. Just wish Mikey would do his job, and it has nothing to do with the water supply.

The Mayor’s Race

Jerry Sanders and his Pro-Homosexual agenda are set to face Businessman Steve Francis. Sanders made it official he is running for Mayor. Too bad he sucks at the job.

There is little question Mayor Jerry Sanders’ tearful turnaround in support of gay marriage Wednesday leaves him more vulnerable to conservative businessman Steve Francis in the June 3 election.

But even in this age of 24-hour analysis, it could take weeks to sort out how Sanders’ decision to abandon a campaign position he staked out in 2005 will affect his 2008 prospects with independents and moderates.

He lied to get elected. He then allowed the city to become a litigation target, and how he wants to get more time in the saddle. Hmm, I say: no thanks Jerry.

En route to the event, Sanders’ strategist Tom Shepard said the campaign received less than a dozen cancellations for the fundraiser in light of the mayor’s decision to sign a City Council resolution to submit a legal brief in support of gay marriages to the state Supreme Court.

Earlier, Sanders had said he would veto the resolution, but at an emotional news conference he said his decision to support it was based partly on his oldest daughter’s sexual orientation.

I wonder who got to him? Could it be a nice fat donation from the pro-Homo crowd? You have to wonder what this guy was thinking. It seems obvious to me that Sanders was preparing to do this all along. His support of anti-family actions has been center-stage for the last 2 years. I have to assume that the time on the job has made him show his liberal stripes, that or he was indoctrinated.

All of this on top of the fact that he allowed violent protestors to destroy the dedication of the Pete Wilson monument and then turn around and kept protestors who he did not side with away from radical anti-American gatherings, the next week. Sick.

Asshat of the Day

joe-madison-black-racistJoe Madison on Lou Dobbs on CNN.

“We need to end the war in Iraq because of the debt it is causing.”

Excuse me? That is your reasoning for ending a war? Good thing you were not on the radio during WWII. We would all be speaking German and using Hitler Marks.

Idiot. Congratulations you are my Asshat of the Day. A truly great honor, considering his other moronic comments. He has said that Bush is moving toward Martial law. Oh and he is a racist. No shock there. He caters to the race baiters and bigots like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the Nation of Islam. Oh, and he hates America. Seems to love Africa though.

Cheaters Win

New England defeats the hapless San Diego Chargers tonight. It was truly pathetic. Welcome to the Norm Turner Error, err Era. You would think they could at least keep it close since everyone was watching to see if the cheaters were cheating again.

Two games into the season and they have half the losses they had last year. Oh joy! Even more sad is that if the Steelers had not sucked more than the Chargers last week, they would have equaled their losses, this week.

A commentator made the comment before the season started that is Norm Turner can’t win in San Diego, then he can’t win. He was referring to the Superbowl. *ROTFLMAO* yea right.

The ownership sucks, and until they are gone, the Chargers are going to be nothing more than also-rans. Norm Turner is the second in a line of horrible coaching decisions.

Oh BTW, the Cowboys are 2-0 this year. Their coach? Last year’s Defensive coach in San Diego. Nice job, Brain Surgeons.

The Sporting News is doing it’s best to resurrect the Bellicheck aura.

  1. Patriots Game about Talent — *cough*, and Ben Affleck is a good actor.
  2. Patriots are Greeaatttt! — apologies to Tony the Tiger

I have not seen such a blatant propagandizing of an issue since this mornings New York Times.

If you want a laugh, read this article. Five things to watch. Number 1? “1. LT OWNS PATS:” Not tonight he didn’t. My head hurts I am laughing so hard.

Liberal Talking Points

Nice to see the liberal Union-Tribune is getting the liberal talking points memos.

UT says President is using smoke and mirrors in Iraq

Seems I have heard that before. Oh, yeah on ever liberal news cast since last night. Why can’t the UT cover something meaningful? Because they are too busy attacking the President. San Diego, and California are sliding into the abyss and they can only parrot the Move-on talking points, err Democrat talking points.

WASHINGTON – Even with cutbacks promised by President Bush, the United States may wind up with thousands more troops in Iraq next summer than before the buildup of forces he ordered in January.

And?

It’s not yet clear how large the U.S. force will be by next summer, and the ambiguity is feeding a sense among anti-war critics that progress Bush claims U.S. forces have made in recent months is too fragile to put the administration on a path to winding down the war before the president leaves office in January 2009.

In other words, the anti-American groups like moveon.org are putting the heat on liberals to destroy the victory in Iraq.

In a conference call with reporters Friday, Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, called administration officials “phonies” for suggesting the modest troop withdrawal is the result of gains made in Iraq, rather than the reality that the military is stretched too thin.

First they bitch that the troops are there, then they bitch there is not enough, then they bitch there are too many, when all else fails — like the liberal group moveon.org’s name calling — they engage in more name calling. Sad. Why are traitors like this allowed to be in the government? Simple, because the people who elect them hate America, just as much as the idiots they elect.
