Paul Harvey passed away today. It’s a sad day in the world. Unlike some today, he was beacon of Hope, real Hope.

Mr. Harvey was the voice of the American heartland. Decades before devoted listeners tuned in to Rush Limbaugh, Howard Stern or Don Imus, an audience of some — million at its peak –was tuned in mornings and at noon to Harvey’s trademark greeting: “Hello Americans! This is Paul Harvey. Stand by! For news!”

Godspeed Mr. Harvey. We will miss you.

And that’s end of the story. It saddens me greatly that Mr. Harvey has passed away.

California now has a Budget, and it is going to the Governor’s Desk.

Now comes the fallout from the tax increases and “spending cuts” on top of more borrowing. Does this sound like the sub-prime debacle to you also?

More Taxes, less service; but the Unions get to keep all their raises. Screwed again.

Oklahoma City Police pulled over a man for a sign that was “anti-Obama.” The coppers say it was “wrongly” confiscated after the cop decided it was a “threat” to the Obamassiah.

The officer misinterpreted the sign as threatening, said Capt. Steve McCool, of the Oklahoma City Police Department, and took the sign, which read “Abort Obama, not the unborn.”

Yea, right. This is just the beginning folks, Fascism is here and going to get worse. Next stop the “Fairness” Doctrine.

“We had an officer that his interpretation of the sign was different than what was meant,” McCool said. “You’ve got an officer who had a different thought on what the word ‘abort’ meant.”

No, the officer is a liberal and Fascist who hates anyone normal. There is no reason for believing that sign is a threat UNLESS you are predisposed — that means “closed minded” — to the liberal view on that issue.

Australia wildfire seen over hill

Once again the liberals have murdered people with their policies. The Australian fire is being blamed on the “green” policies of the liberal local council.

ANGRY residents last night accused local authorities of contributing to the bushfire toll by failing to let residents chop down trees and clear up bushland that posed a fire risk.

For those who don’t remember the San Diego County fires of 2007, this is exactly the same problem we had here. The local elected clowns decided that scrub was more important than lives. Everyone in the county paid for that bit of stupidity.

“We’ve lost two people in my family because you dickheads won’t cut trees down,” he [Warwick Spooner of Arthurs Creek, on Melbourne's northern fringe] said.
