Switching to Mac was supposed to relieve me of the nightmare crashes of Windows. Yea right. Today, I had my second crash in as many days. This one was so bad that I had to ‘hard’ stop the machine (using the power key). Unreal, very disappointing.
Now in Mac’s defense, I believe the real culprit to be Opera the Browser. With each version the browser becomes more an more unstable. It was so bad, I could no longer stand to use it on Windows.
Today Opera hung and forced a hard shutdown. This is, of course, never a good idea. It’s sad that Opera has sunk so low. It used to be a safe, secure, and reliable application. It seems however that Opera has decided to forgo those traits, and spend most of it’s time pretending to be Firefox.
It seems they don’t even read the crash reports you send them. The issues never get fixed and seem to only get worse. Sad.

The Apple iPad was introduced the same day as Obama gave his first “State of the Union” address. I find it ironic in that the iPad was also introduced that day. Is there a connection? yes.
The iPad is flashy, pretty, worshipped by cult members, underpowered, lacking content, and overpriced. Exactly like Obama’s speech.

It has finally arrived. My Mac Book Pro arrived today. The wait was frustrating. My MBP was built i Shanghai, China. That in an of itself is depressing, but watching the glacial speed that the package moved around the system was frustrating.
It’s a little awkward using the system, right now. I keep using Windows’ shortcuts, and sometimes that is not such a good idea. *lol*
I am currrently setting up my system, and will post more in depth reviews, and observations later.

Ooops! And to think that these were considered innocuous, and no one could see anything. Yea, right.
Britiain’s security gap; kids will NOT be scanned.
The rapid introduction of full body scanners at British airports threatens to breach child protection laws which ban the creation of indecent images of children, the Guardian has learned.
Privacy campaigners claim the images created by the machines are so graphic they amount to “virtual strip-searching” and have called for safeguards to protect the privacy of passengers involved.
This is of course what the complaint has been all along. They are a clear violation of the privacy of the individual, AND ARE NOT EFFECTIVE.
Here are some alternatives to full body scans.
Gadgets will not fix the problem. Unfortunately Obama and his gang, are obsessed with gadgets.
Pravda: US Airports Personnel Get Ready to Enjoy the View of Naked Passengers.
Gangs use under 18′s to commit crime, as they are not considered Adults and receive little to no punishment for Adult crimes. Of course terrorists used kids as bombs all the time. Great.
