Politics should never get in the way of national security. But too many in Washington are now misrepresenting the facts to score political points, instead of coming together to keep us safe.

What? Let me get this straight, you now believe that the President should go about unfettered in protecting this country? Why the change of heart? Can you not stand the criticism? You liberals told us it was Patriotic to challenge the President.

Yep, those “medical marijuana” people are just so darn responsible that we can surely trust them to not get “baked” and be stupid on an airline.

No doubt the defenders of Med-Pot will say that drinkers do this as well. Of course they do, how come it happens in greater percentages with dopers? Alcohol is available before during and after boarding of a plane. Med-pot on the other hand is only available in a handful of areas, and only with much preplanning.

I have yet to hear a drunk say the booze made him do it. It’s always, I got drunk because I was depressed, and then I acted stupidly. The alcohol had nothing to do with it.

This clown is just making excuses. Typical liberal, dope smoker. They want to blame everyone else for their failures. That is the difference between potheads and drunks. At least drunks will admit they are the problem.

Britiain’s security gap; kids will NOT be scanned.

The rapid introduction of full body scanners at British airports threatens to breach child protection laws which ban the creation of indecent images of children, the Guardian has learned.

Privacy campaigners claim the images created by the machines are so graphic they amount to “virtual strip-searching” and have called for safeguards to protect the privacy of passengers involved.

This is of course what the complaint has been all along. They are a clear violation of the privacy of the individual, AND ARE NOT EFFECTIVE.

Countries ignoring Obama’s edicts on Airline checks.

On the first day of what was supposed to be tighter screening ordered by the U.S. for airline passengers from certain countries, some airports around the world conceded Monday they had not cracked down.

The United States demanded more careful screening for people who are citizens of, or are flying from, 14 nations deemed security risks. But enforcement of the U.S. rules appeared spotty.

“Everything is the same. There is no extra security,” said an aviation official in Lebanon, one of the countries on the list. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly.

OK it’s Lebanon … wait’ IT’S LEBANON! Hello! That’s not all. Our “friends” are not helping either.

But at international airports in Lebanon, Syria and Libya, all on the list, there were no visible changes in screening. And several European governments, including Germany, France and Spain, said they were still studying the rules before tightening security any further than the steps they took after the failed Christmas attack.

I thought Europe loved Obama and would do anything to help him out? Geuss it’s all a big lie. They want to destroy us, and that’s why they backed Obama.

This makes no sense at all. Is this how they will respond to a terrorists attack, by doing nothing?

DENVER (AP) – A 29-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly binding the hands of a teenager sitting next to him on a Southwest Airlines flight and trying to tape her older sister’s hands as well.

No, they were not his kids. He didn’t know them. He did try to photograph one of them, she blocked her face.

During the flight, the younger sister, who is 16, said Wallace took out some pre-torn strips of white athletic tape from his backpack and used a figure eight pattern to tie her hands together with the tape.

Hmm. That sounds suspicious.

Wallace was allowed to stay on the Denver-bound flight, and the FBI interviewed the 16-year-old a week later.

Huh? Why was he even let on the plane?

According to the affidavit, Wallace said he was “drunk and blurry” during the flight because he drank about a half-pint of vodka beforehand.

OK drunken louts shouldn’t be banished from flying, however this guy seems to be clearly out of it. Or was he? Beyond that why was he not restrained? Why did it take a week for the girl to be interviewed?

U.S. Attorney spokesman Jeff Dorschner said Wallace’s arrest was delayed because of “investigative work” but wouldn’t elaborate.

Bullshit! WTF is going on at our airports? WTF is going on with Southwest Airlines? Herb please come back!
