Van der Sloot: ‘I was tricked’ – CNN.com:

“Lima, Peru (CNN) — Joran van der Sloot was ‘tricked’ into confessing to the murder of a Peruvian student, Stephany Flores Ramirez, he says in a Dutch newspaper article published Monday. Peruvian police told him that if he signed the papers they gave him, he would be transferred to the Netherlands, he told De Telegraaf in a jail interview.”

Here we go. I told you so.

Chile police detain Dutchman in Peru killing – Yahoo! News:

“The suspect, Joran van der Sloot, was arrested in neighboring Chile, where he traveled the day after Flores died. Van der Sloot was taken in a dark vehicle to a police office in downtown Santiago. He made no comment as he entered, walking calmly and without handcuffs as journalists shouted his name.”

Rut roh! Busted. Hey Joran; are you going to pop-off about the Police this time? Guess not having someone to dump the body makes it hard to cover up your crimes. Well, that and having to rent a hotel room because Daddy does not live in Peru.

A spokeswoman for Holloway’s mother, Beth Twitty of Mountain Brook, Alabama, told the AP the family was aware of the development in Peru but would have no comment.

No way! Maybe she learned her lesson?

Holloway Suspect Sought in Peru Killing – WSJ.com:

“LIMA, Peru — A young Dutchman previously arrested in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway is being sought as a suspect in a weekend murder of a Peruvian woman, Peruvian police said Wednesday.”

Ben Roethlisberger should take a cue from this idiot. Joran van der Sloot seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hmmm.

Joran van der Sloot is claiming that Natalee Holloway, the wayward Alabama High School graduate who was partying in Aruba; fell from the balcony of a friends house while being drunk on whiskey, and high on Cocaine.

Van der Sloot’s new story fits with the time line and is very specific on the details, he told the Telegraaf. Aruban officials have already dismissed the new statement as ‘fantasy and lies’.

Unbelievable. These idiots are hell-bent on being the most incompetent clowns on the planet. Aruban prosecutor must be too busy with fishing to investigate.

DutchNews.nl is reporting that Former Police Chief Gerard Dompig says the claim is at least worth checking out. I agree.

van der Sloot claims he and a friend dropped the body into a swamp. CNN says it was on the North end of the Island. Well how many can there be? Look and see if her body is there! Duh.

No doubt the Beth Holloway-Twitty- road show will be back in force after hearing about this. She of course will claim it’s more of a coverup, as if he needed to cover it up anymore. Hello, wake up! He was pretty much free and clear until he talked to the Police again.

This is truly amazing; the “confession” is going to be broadcast. Unreal. I suppose we should be grateful they waited a year to do the interview.

“Obviously, our initial response was skeptical,” van Westerloo said. “However, we did feel that this interview required thorough research. We’ve spoken to a variety of experts and several critics. These findings resulted in a TV special which will air this Sunday. It’s up to the viewers to form their own opinions on the matter.

Some backwater Alabama “news” station is claiming the the “facts” in the confession don’t add up. Funny a Police Chief says they do. Well it is NBC.

I am not sure who is more in need of publicity; Beth Holloway-Twitty- or Joran van der Sloot. Shut up, both of you.

Asked why van der Sloot gave the interview, Blanken said, “You should ask him. Maybe he wanted to be on camera or make some money.”

He could learn a thing or two from Beth Holloway-Twitty-.

“When [van der Sloot] really wants to tell the truth, [we hope] he will,” said Blanken, who took over as chief prosecutor in September. “He didn’t tell the truth [this time].”

Yea, and with dopes like you in the Prosecutor’s office, no one is safe in Aruba.

van der Sloot Confesses?

It is being reported that Joran van der Sloot has confessed to disposing of Natalie Holloway’s body in Aruba in 2005.

Joran’s dad passed away just before Valentine’s day. Some are speculating that the “secrets” drove him to his grave. Seems odd, since he was playing Tennis when he ‘keeled over.’
