Just Warming Up: Cartoon not meant to offend – Imperial Valley Press Online – Our Opinion:

“I am apologizing because I simply made the wrong call. I support our cartoonist’s right to portray public figures in any way he chooses to do so. He has the First Amendment right to do so, and we have the right to publish it or not. People have the right to then react to it as they see fit.”

Yep, I knew it. They agree with the cartoon, but can’t stand the heat from it. They are typical of the liberal lame-stream newsies. They hate anyone who stands against them. Most every newsy thought it was funny, and now they are desperate to not appear what they are, hateful.

Immigrant-rights activist Nativo Lopez jailed – Total Buzz : The Orange County Register:

“Immigrant-rights activist and former Santa Ana schools trustee Nativo Lopez was jailed in Los Angeles Thursday after being indicted by the grand jury there for eight felony counts alleging voter fraud.”

“Immigration-Rights activist” means anti-American open-borders law breaker.

Another scheduled speaker at “Socialism 2010” is Nativo Lopez, described as “a leading immigrant rights activist in Southern California.” A Los Angeles Times reporter compared Lopez to Jesse Jackson in Chicago and Al Sharpton in New York (both longtime Democratic Party operatives). This was presumably meant as a compliment.

In a piece written November 7, 2008, Lopez commented ecstatically, “The American people can now rejoice in one of the greatest blows against racism in its history—the election of President-elect Barack Hussein Obama… No matter your take on his politics—either from the left or right—president-elect Obama will be considered an American epic figure.” [Emphasis in the original]

That is from some whack-job pseudo-intellectual website called World Socialist Website Published by the International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI). You will get a migraine reading that article. It’s a desperate attempt to sound intelligent and intellectual. The author fails on both accounts. Just a bunch of self-important failures who think being pompous windbags is impressive.

Nativo also has a take on Cock fighting (insert your own joke).

Although some political leaders openly oppose tougher laws for cockfighting, including Nativo Lopez, the Mexican American Political Association (MAPA) National President, who asserts that cockfighting is an inherent part of the social and economic reality of Latin communities, it cannot be dismissed as just a cultural tradition. There is no ethnic monopoly on “blood sports.”

Yep, being Mexican means you have a right to invade America (violating our laws) and then bring your vile ways with you (in violation of our laws). Anyone see a pattern here?

Oh and Navtivo has his fingers in many pies.

Los Angeles-based immigration advocate Nativo Lopez hailed [Richmond Ca Mayor Gayle] McLaughlin as the rare contemporary politician who is “uniting people, supporting immigrants, and restoring good jobs to local communities.”

But to her critics — and potential opponents in the November election — McLaughlin is an ineffective politician whose extreme rhetoric and national affiliations with the Green Party act as distractions that hold back a city poised to prosper.

Gee, he supports radicals. I am so stunned. I wonder if he stuffed her ballot box? Oh and the Richmond webiste looks very “obamasized.”

Mystery S.C. nominee has pending felony charge – Yahoo! News:

“lvin Greene has been on the phone all day. That’s to be expected for the guy who just won South Carolina’s Democratic Senate primary and is facing incumbent Republican Jim DeMint in November. But everyone calling Greene has just been trying to find out who the heck he is — and one thing reporters learned Tuesday is that a criminal complaint was sworn out against him last year for allegedly showing obscene photos to a South Carolina college student and suggesting they go to her dorm room.

Greene, a 32-year-old unemployed military veteran who lives with his parents, defeated Vic Rawl on Tuesday for the Democratic Senate nomination despite having run essentially no public campaign — no events, no signs, no debates, no website, no fundraising.”

Oh this is classic. Funny how the liberal media did not lead the news with this. Guess they did not want to prove themselves foolish. No doubt hoping no one will notice this item. Oops! Too late.

Bye Bye, Bob Bennett

For the first time in seven decades, a sitting U.S. senator from Utah was denied his party’s nomination. Republican state delegates favored Tim Bridgewater and Mike Lee over Bob Bennett, a three-term incumbent, ending one of the state’s most enduring political dynasties. Bridgewater and Lee will face off in a June primary.

Good riddance! The usual suspects backed this capitulating fool for Senate; Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, and Mitt Romney.

The “Tea Party” was successful in sending home one of the go-along-to-get-along Senators who helped pass the Obama’s Health Care Takeover. Are you paying attention Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Karl Rove, and John McCain?

Obama supporter ACORN has more trouble on it’s hands. The group is known for election fraud and manufactured outrage.

Nevada field director Christopher Edwards convicted of violation of election laws.

A high-ranking official at the taxpayer-funded leftist group that conducts fraudulent voter registration drives has pleaded guilty to conspiracy for organizing a scheme that illegally paid workers to register new voters.

As a Nevada field director for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), Christopher Edwards paid canvassers—many of them “lazy crack heads”—to register new voters for the 2008 presidential election. He also set illegal quotas of at least 20 voters a day for canvassers to keep their job and offered an additional $5 for registering 21 or more.

ACORN’s shady quota system is illegal in Nevada as well as most states and the Chicago-based community group with strong ties to President Obama faces criminal charges across the nation. As part of Edwards’ guilty plea, he is cooperating with authorities and will testify against several high-ranking ACORN regional officials.

ACORN will no doubt claim they had no knowledge (a lie) of his actions, and that it was an employee, so they have no responsibility in the matter. Yes, they actually believe they have not responsibility to monitor or manage their employees.

It is not a Nevada only issue. The Obama administration has blocked all efforts to investigate ACORN in 13 states, by the Justice Department.

They are slated to do the census in 2010, as well. I wonder if they pay people to get illegal aliens to take the census? I would bet good money, they already have a plan.
