Deputies shoot bicyclist fleeing from Traffic Stop
It seems that most cops these days are looking for reasons to shoot. They have plenty of non-lethal choices, yet they seem to be shooting more than usual.
Maybe it’s just perception. If it is then the cops need to get serious about their image. Having people think they are nothing more than assassins looking for a reason to shoot, is not good.
LASD is not helping matters by not releasing info. Funny how when a cop is involved they can keep quiet. When it’s not a cop, they have diarrhea of the mouth. They love the media, when it suits them.
We need to establish rules for what police can and can’t say. It’s clear they can’t handle this themselves. It’s also time to get ALL cops back on the street, and eliminate the desk-bound paper jockeys.
