Videotaping backfires; rapist sent to prison: OC Register

“SANTA ANA – A registered sex offender testified he videotaped sexual encounters he had with more than 30 women in his Huntington Beach apartment to protect himself from false rape allegations.

It did not work.”

Wow! Did he really believe this would work? Surely, not. I can’t believe that he really thought this.

This had to be a desperate attempt to excuse the recording.

Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Walker used the videos to prove that James Ernest Bledsoe, 40, sexually assaulted four of the women, including two who were so intoxicated or drugged that they could not give consent.

If you videotape your crimes, you deserve EXTRA prison time. People this deviant are a menace to society and need to be removed from it or a long, long, long time.

On Friday, Superior Court Judge John Conley sentenced Bledsoe to 100 years to life in prison plus 29 years. The judge said he was able to double some of the sentence because Bledsoe has a prior strike conviction for child molestation in 2003.

Well there you go. He’s a pedophile. Had he been removed from society the first time; this would not have happened. Sickening, that some feel that pedophiles should get multiple chances, when there is no chance of them reforming. They are responsible for the rapes of these women.

Bledsoe, who frequently tried to disrupt his trial by claiming among other things to be over-medicated, pretending to be asleep at the counsel table, feigning a suicide attempt, and mouthing words to the jury, wept and apologized to the victims before he was sentenced.
And then he asked for mercy.

Call the ACLU, they will side with you. The rest of Society wants you where you belong, in Prison, never to return to Society. Good riddance.
